Sapele Quartersawn 4" Clear Prefinished
Canterbury Wood Floors’ Traditions™ Prefinished Sapele flooring is a fine tropical hardwood originating in Africa. Sapele is stable and resilient and in its quarter sawn form is an excellent solution for use over radiant heat. Quartersawn Sapele offers the distinctive ribbon stripe pattern shown in the photo to the right.
This pre-finished Sapele flooring is milled and finished to exacting tolerances in the USA. Prefinished flooring is tongue and grooved, end-matched, back relieved, and has a microbeveled edge profile. Prefinished flooring carries a 25-year warranty.
Sapele flooring is available in clear grade, virtually free of natural defect and very consistent in color. Sapele deepens in color over time to a rich brown. Quartersawn Sapele is available in widths up to 8” and lengths to 12’. The standard product ships in 1’ to 7’ lengths with a 3.5’ average length.
