Synonymous with high quality and durability, white oak has been used for more than a century in hard wood flooring.  White oak is heavy, hard and tough; it is more durable than red oak.  Notably stiff and dense, it has high shock and wear resistance.

The heartwood is light to nutty brown in color, giving it a strong, clean look.

Mostly straight grained with a medium to coarse texture, white oak’s long rays give it more figure than red oak.  The occasional crotches, swirls and burls in this wood works well in traditional as well as contemporary interiors.

Chosen by the colonists, white oak is truly the all-American floor.
